Proposals for revised airspace change process

Between March and June 2016 the CAA carried out a major consultation on revising its airspace change decision-making process.caa-acp-outcome-document

Following an independent review by the consultancy Helios in 2015, the CAA set out the principles of a new process, with new steps and activities to address areas in which its existing process could be improved.

It contacted more than 1,000 individuals and organisations directly about the consultation and used social media to raise broader awareness. The CAA also met or presented to around 50 different organisations, groups and companies to discuss the proposals.

The full details of the outcome can be found in a document published by the CAA and available HERE.
